About The Inn at Castle Hill

The Inn at Castle Hill is a boutique bed and breakfast situated in the heart of the Crane Estate, a 2,100-acre property known for its historic mansion and 4 miles of idyllic white sand beach.

Job Summary

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our 10-room inn. This seasonal position requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including linens and towels
  • Vacuum and dust public areas of the inn
  • Inventory and manage cleaning supplies
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the inn's dining and service areas
Requirements
  • Attention to cleanliness and detail
  • Positive customer interaction skills
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not necessary
Working Conditions

The ability to lift 40 pounds is required, and the ability to climb stairs is necessary due to the absence of an elevator in the building.

Benefits and Compensation

This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly paid position with an optimal start date in April 2024. Staff at The Inn appreciate free or reduced admission to all Trustees properties across the state, free or reduced admission to programming and events on the Crane Estate, and free and unlimited access to the incredible Crane Beach.
