Job Title: Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at Brown & Root. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings.

Job Summary:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of buildings, including floors, hallways, and stairs. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalks. Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year depending on experience and location.
