About the Role:

AEI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Gainesville, FL. As an Electrical Engineer I, you will play a key role in empowering our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and create a better, greener future for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts, calculate equipment sizes, select equipment, complete field surveys, and review equipment shop drawings.
  • Work with experienced engineers and mentor designers to deliver high-performance, innovative, and holistic engineering solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and support construction-phase work.

Requirements:

  • BSEE/BSAE from ABET accredited school.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Non-academic internship.
  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred.
  • EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus.
