Our services include community living options, novel day programs, behavioral health services, employment initiatives, respite care for families, and foster care for children with disabilities.

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that our residences are well-managed, staff are properly trained and supervised, and members receive necessary services in their assigned CILA program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and supervising CILA employees to adhere to planned schedules, programs, and documented activities; monitoring employee work hours through the time and attendance system, and managing overtime.
  • Evaluating employee performance, enforcing agency policies and procedures, and recommending changes in employee status.
  • Providing on-site supervision at CILA homes.
  • Maintaining and operating assigned homes within budgetary guidelines, including groceries, gasoline, link card usage, and other purchases.
  • Ensuring health and safety practices in each assigned CILA home, including emergency drills, medication training, and staff/member ratios.
  • Ensuring there are medication-authorized staff scheduled for every shift as needed and providing backup if required for medication administration.
  • Responding to emergencies in CILA homes, working collaboratively with the Agency maintenance department, and completing work tickets as needed.
  • Monitoring assigned agency vehicles to ensure mileage logs and gasoline purchases are completed and coordinating with the transportation department on maintenance issues.
  • Developing, planning, and monitoring community inclusion activities and opportunities for members.
  • Ensuring adherence to mandated reporter/OIG protocols, notifying staff as needed of any OIG interviews, and cooperating fully with OIG investigations promptly.
  • Completing required documentation into the agency electronic record system (Quantum) and ensuring staff is also trained on Quantum usage and utilized for recordkeeping.
  • Ensuring timely response to emails and phone calls, generally within one working day, and providing out-of-office notification on emails and cell phones with appropriate contact information as needed.
  • Ensuring semi-annual inventories are completed related to each member's personal items.
  • Ensuring at least monthly member and staff meetings and minutes of such.
  • Assisting members in budgeting and maintaining pay cards and tracking expenditures and receipts.
  • Completing annual and semi-annual Health & Safety reviews and maintaining first aid kits according to OSHA requirements.

Requirements:

This role requires three years of direct work experience in an Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities CILA home, with supervisory experience and DSP training. Additionally, the successful candidate must pass the TABE test and maintain authorization to administer medications. A valid driver's license is also required.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
