Compensation Manager Job Description

First Western Trust is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Accounting and Finance team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement market-competitive compensation programs that align with organizational values, goals, and strategies.
  • Manage the Company's total compensation programs, including base pay administration and short- and long-term incentive plans.
  • Develop and implement job evaluation programs, including job evaluation processes, pricing, job grades, and salary ranges.
  • Participate in compensation and benefit surveys and benchmarking, and monitor trends and new practices.
  • Provide analytics to support decisions in compensation and benefits.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation programs, plans, and practices, and develop plan revisions and new plans that are cost-effective and aligned with Company objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience designing and implementing compensation policies.
  • Strong understanding of compensation management, including previous experience with LTI and STI plan design and strategy development, equity analysis, and related employee communication programs and strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to senior leaders and communicate complicated topics in an easily understood and digestible format.
  • Thorough knowledge and practical application of U.S. federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with HRIS report writing.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
