Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Crown Point, IN. As a key member of our cardiovascular care unit, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and providing critical support to the cardiac care team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up the catheterization laboratory for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist the cardiologist and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.
  • Operate and maintain specialized cath lab equipment, ensuring its proper function and safety.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and communication.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation schedule as needed.

Qualifications

  • Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Proficient in operating cath lab equipment and imaging systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cath lab procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
