Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Military Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Destiny Management Services, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to military personnel and their families on disability evaluation and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Disability Evaluation System (DES) and its procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including military personnel, healthcare providers, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to military personnel and their families on disability evaluation and benefits
  • Assist with the processing of disability claims and appeals
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Healthcare Organizations
  • 2 years' experience as a PEBLO within the DoD military health system in the last 6 years, or 5 years' experience working in a civilian disability program, or 2 years' experience as a VA Medical Service Coordinator (MSC)
  • Strong understanding of the DES and its procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Environment:

The work is primarily sedentary, with requirements including prolonged walking, standing, sitting, or bending.
