We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Buck Creek Dental Care. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional oral health care to our patients, utilizing your expertise in dental hygiene procedures and patient screening.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and polishing, to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Screen patients for oral health risks and provide personalized recommendations for prevention and treatment.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Current dental hygienist license in AL and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
