About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist RN to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation in Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and improve day-to-day documentation practices of medical staff and healthcare teams on medical-surgical patient populations.
- Provide coding expertise and education to ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with coding and reimbursement changes to promote quality coding.
- Assume responsibility for personal growth and development through continuing education and self-education.
- Meet assigned goals and objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee. 5+ years of experience in clinical documentation or a related field.
Compensation and BenefitsThis is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $$83,000 per year, paid vacation/time off, continuing education opportunities, generous retirement plan, health insurance, sick leave, service awards, free parking, short-term disability, life insurance, and more.
