Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adjunct Professor to join our Digital Multimedia program at Computer Systems Institute Inc.

About the Position

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position teaching up to 27.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Graphic Design, Webpage Markup I, Webpage Markup II, Webpage Styling, Image Processing I, Image Processing II, Web Content Management, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Optimization (SMO) courses.
  • Deliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) on various business-related topics.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress through the use of various assessment tools.
  • Assist students in the learning process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to computer and information science, digital media, graphic design, digital design, programming, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, and other media editing software.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The estimated salary range is based on national averages for adjunct professors in the Chicago area.
