We are a full-service veterinary medical facility located in Sparta, NJ, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will assist our veterinarians in exam rooms, perform various medical procedures, and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians in exam rooms and use veterinary software for documenting medical notes
- Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Obtain laboratory sample collection, process, and interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
- Perform diagnostic imaging
- Perform anesthesia
- Prep patients for and assist in surgery
- Perform dental prophies
- Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)
- Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients
- Communicate with and educate clients
- Provide compassionate patient care
- Strong work ethic and positive personality

Mainly 1:30 PM to close (around 9:30 PM give or take), 12:30 to 6:30/7:00 PM, and Saturdays (at least 2 per month). May need to work during the day as a fill-in if the candidate is flexible.
