About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Senior Administrator to join our dynamic team at The Howard Hughes Corporation. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS and Azure infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement AWS infrastructure to support business applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM, to ensure high availability and performance of services.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and management of the cloud.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS and Azure.
  • Strong technical expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with cloud security practices, including IAM, security groups, and firewalls.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, including PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM Templates.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to manage IT processes and procedures, including incident management, change management, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
