Position Description:

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a caseload of residents from admission to dismissal on assigned nursing unit.

Coordinates and supervises nursing care delivered by nursing assistants under Team Leader's supervision.

Part-time and full-time positions available, with multiple shifts to choose from.

Compensation:

$/hour - based on experience and schedule.

Duties:
  1. Administers and charts medications and treatments, adhering to all Pharmacy procedures.
  2. Makes rounds on each resident.
  3. Assesses for significant changes in residents' condition.
  4. Supervises nursing assistants on the unit, evaluating work performance in terms of resident care, staff relations, efficiency of service, and intervenes when needed.
  5. Initiates and completes all necessary documentation and reporting.
  6. Communicates all order and status changes to the interdisciplinary team.
  7. Responsible for completing nursing notes according to Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and Bethany Village charting guidelines.
Qualifications:

Due to federal funding, we are a drug-free workplace (including marijuana). A pre-employment drug screen is required for all positions.

License Practical Nurse from accredited school of nursing.

Long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
