Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate New Grad RN to join our team on the ENT Plastics Stepdown Cardiology Medicine unit. As a New Grad RN, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, and sepsis.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum to develop your skills and knowledge.
- Initiate and maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective care for patients.
- Seek supervision and consultation when needed, and follow established hospital and departmental policies.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
