Avera Mary House Long Term Care is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and creating a caring and joyful environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily rounds and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide professional nursing care to residents, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including medication administration records and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of South Dakota.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work evening shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays.
