About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Alabama Decks & Exteriors. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our exterior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of exterior projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining regular communication, providing daily updates, and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements, company goals, and industry best practices
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as design, production, and installation to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to project specifications
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success
  • Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for project execution
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, assess work quality, and address any deviations from plans and specifications
  • Manage project change orders, tracking costs, and ensuring profitability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attend project meetings, kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and post-project evaluation
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and closeout documents

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry, with a track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in project management software (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques related to exterior construction
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation Package:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
