The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental health and safety management, with a strong background in root cause analysis and large-scale project implementation.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience.

About the Role

This senior-level position involves providing expert advice and guidance on environmental health and safety matters to our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective EHS programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conducting thorough incident investigations, identifying root causes and developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitoring and analyzing site performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvements to enhance overall safety.
  • Carrying out risk assessments and hazard mitigation, ensuring the safe execution of projects.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Management, or a related science/engineering discipline.
  • Formal training and certification in Root Cause Analysis, with Six Sigma or TapRoot certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Root Cause Analyst in large-scale construction or operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously.
Desired Skills

Prior experience within continuous improvement or performance enhancement roles, proficiency in identifying and implementing improvements for EHS software systems and databases.
