About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Supply Chain Management to join our team at Euro-Wall. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our procurement activities, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, and services essential for manufacturing and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive purchasing strategy that aligns with Euro-Wall's business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier reliability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that quality, delivery, and cost requirements are consistently met.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, creating continuous improvement.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring necessary materials while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Implement just-in-time (JIT) purchasing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
  • Develop and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks based on market conditions, trends, and pricing.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, by fostering a high-performance culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
  • Drive strategic sourcing to identify and qualify new suppliers that can enhance Euro-Wall's competitive advantage.
  • Encourage innovation by exploring new technologies, materials, and processes that can improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Lead initiatives to source sustainable and eco-friendly materials in line with Euro-Wall's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field, MS degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a fenestration manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in development of MRP and ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leadership and team development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with integrity and professionalism.
