Job Summary

The Lead Staff Therapist, Practicum Training Coordinator will provide exceptional clinical skills and experience, contributing to the delivery of therapeutic services to Purdue students. This role involves providing individual, couples, and group therapy, as well as on-call services, triage, assessment, and substance use, abuse, and dependence services. In collaboration with the Associate Director of Clinical Training, the successful candidate will lead and coordinate the Practicum training program, providing vision for its continuation and development. This includes recruiting and hiring practicum students, providing individual clinical supervision, and organizing seminars and group supervision for practicum students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the Practicum training program
  • Provide individual clinical supervision to doctoral students
  • Develop and teach seminars related to clinical skills and supervision
  • Contribute to clinical service delivery, including individual, couples, and group therapy
  • Participate in on-call services, triage, assessment, and substance use, abuse, and dependence services

Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Minimum of two years of general therapy experience
  • Current license or immediately license eligible in the state of Indiana
  • Experience providing clinical supervision of doctoral students
