Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Summary

Delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and daily living activities. Participating in the implementation of nursing care plans, assisting with mobility, obtaining patient information, and assisting with daily living activities.

  • Implementing nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
  • Assisting patients with mobility, including regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating. Assisting with walker, crutch, cane, and wheelchair use. Transferring patients between units, departments, or entities. Assisting with discharges, demonstrating proper body mechanics.
  • Collecting specimens for diagnostic or waived tests, ensuring label accuracy and timely transfer.
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as eating, drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination. Changing bed linens as needed.
  • Serving as Monitor/Telemetry Tech as needed.
  • Engaging in evidence-based best practices enhancing the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
