Radiation Oncology Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Oncology Nurse Manager to join our team at Inova Health System. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for the facilitation of excellence in patient care delivery, operational efficiencies, and compliance with hospital and regulatory policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily supervision, support, and assessment of care to nurses and support staff to facilitate the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Establish effective accountability systems to assure patient care standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Director to develop staffing patterns to support patient care needs and unit operations.
- Ensure each area of Rad Onc has the supplies needed to function properly.
- Interviews and hires candidates to fill vacant nursing, allied health positions and participates in the interview process to fill vacant leadership positions.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BCLS
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of radiation or ambulatory nursing experience required, with demonstrated clinical competence and professional accountability.
