Geriatric Psychotherapist

Senior Care Therapy is a clinician-owned behavioral health company dedicated to providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Psychotherapist to join our team of compassionate professionals who share our mission of delivering exceptional care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced therapist to work with seniors in various settings, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living communities. As a Geriatric Psychotherapist, you will provide individual and group sessions, conduct assessments, and document patient progress using our electronic medical system.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Conduct initial assessments and follow-up sessions during standard hours of care
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to patients' needs
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent
• Experience working with geriatric populations, preferably in skilled nursing, hospital, hospice, or home care settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide flexible scheduling, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive team environment.

Our team members work across various locations in NJ, NY, PA, and MD, serving over 300 communities. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and develop meaningful relationships with your patients.
