About the Role:

We are seeking an EMT or Paramedic to join our team as a Worksite Health Technician. In this role, you will provide patient care, manage workers' compensation cases, and facilitate Return to Work programs at our client's construction sites across the Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, and client staff to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence Based Medicine protocols.
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships and support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
  • Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.
  • Manage cases and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Passion for providing excellent patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
  • Comfortable working in a construction environment.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with EMR software.
