Job Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse at Washington Regional Medical Center is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team. Reporting clinically to the physician and administratively to the Clinic Manager, this role provides direct patient care, assists physicians with procedures, and supports front office duties as needed.

This position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a LPN on an interdisciplinary team. A Licensed Practical Nurse license and CPR certification are also required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize patient needs. They will also be responsible for obtaining patient vitals, updating medical history, preparing patients for procedures, and refilling medications as authorized by providers.

In addition to providing direct patient care, the LPN will serve as a patient liaison and advocate, scheduling surgeries and diagnostic tests, and providing patients with scheduled dates.

Our medical center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 per year based on experience, health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
