Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team in a medical office setting. As an Athletic Trainer, you will provide direct patient care, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates patient condition and develops a plan of care to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

• Provides direct patient care, including casting, splinting, and applying ambulatory assistive devices.

• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Provides clinical education and expert guidance to patients and families on procedures and plan of care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.

• Certification by The Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (NATA-BOC).

• Licensure with the State of Colorado (DORA) as an Athletic Trainer (LAT).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
