Job Title: Host/Hostess

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team at Shrimp Basket Holdings. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our guests feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
* Present menus to guests and inform them of any specials or promotions
* Maintain a clean and organized host stand, including menus and condiments
* Run the floor plan board to ensure efficient table management
* Monitor tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
* Clean and wipe down tables as needed
* Perform side work tasks, such as restocking condiments and cleaning windows
* Interact with guests throughout their dining experience to ensure a positive experience

Requirements:

* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment:

* The work environment is a restaurant and bar setting, with a moderate noise level and frequent hand washing required
* The physical demands of the job include standing and walking for long periods, as well as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
