Job Description

The successful candidate will ensure spiritual assessments of patients and families/caregivers in the hospice program and provide direct spiritual care. They will also serve as liaison and support to community chaplains and spiritual care counselors.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree) and experience working with death and dying, individuals/family/caregiver.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely spiritual assessment and service provision for patients and families/caregivers.
  • Facilitate individualized plans of care through comprehensive assessment.
  • Provide consultation, education, and support to the interdisciplinary group on spiritual care.
