Housewrights, a premier residential design-build firm, is seeking a skilled Staff Carpenter to join our team. Located in south-central Wisconsin, we specialize in delivering high-quality new homes, additions, and remodeling projects to clients.

As a Staff Carpenter, you will work closely with Lead Carpenters to assist in remodels and new home construction projects. This role is ideal for those with some carpentry experience looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional growth and development. Our commitment is to deliver well-designed, high-performing residential solutions that combine functional precision, technical expertise, and inspiring aesthetics—all while maintaining a strong focus on value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Framing, trim work, and general labor
  • Assisting Lead Carpenters on remodels and new home construction projects
Requirements:
  • Some experience in residential construction or remodeling (we're open to training those eager to learn)
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work on-site in varying conditions, including residential heights (up to 35 feet)
