Opportunity for Experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologists

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team in Norwalk, Connecticut. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals to provide exceptional care in a busy hospital setting.

About the Job
  • Clinical Role: Provide high-quality patient care as an OB/GYN Hospitalist, ensuring seamless coverage and support for midwives and other healthcare providers.
  • Shifts per month needed: 8-10 shifts, starting on varying days.
  • Reason for coverage need: Onboarding program for core team members.

Patient Care Requirements:

  • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly average): 167
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (excluding deliveries) (monthly): 250

Working Conditions:

  • NICU Level III Baby-Friendly Hospital
  • Anesthesia In-house 24/7
  • Gyn surgery: Hospitalist will provide emergent GYN coverage

Requirements:

  • Board Certified - Required
  • Active CT License - Required
  • Minimum Gyn cases required to work at this site: minimum 25 within the last 12 months
  • Minimum Delivery cases required to work at this site: 100 within the last 24 months

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this position is approximately $175,000-$225,000 per year, based on national averages for OB/GYN Hospitalists in Connecticut.
