Job DescriptionAbout the Job

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Pediatric Speech and Language Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personalized, one-on-one care to children and families, contributing to a collaborative and passionate team of dynamic therapists.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Regularly re-assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources.
  • Communicate patient progress and needs to the treatment team, physician, family members, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless coordination of care and enhanced patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • A valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
  • Effective communication skills in verbal and written interactions.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds, moving, lifting, or transferring patients, and performing fine motor tasks.
