Job Summary: As an HR Generalist at Reser's Fine Foods, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing various human resource functions. This position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in generalist roles within fast-paced HR departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance, service, solutions, and training to management and all levels of employees.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
  • Assists with recruiting, reviews employment applications, evaluates qualifications or eligibility of applicants, investigates and resolves employee complaints, assists management with disciplinary and termination meetings, coordinates employee benefits administration, and plans annual open enrollment.
  • Records and completes unemployment claims, creates and maintains employee files, and ensures regular attendance and punctuality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in generalist roles within fast-paced HR departments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and procedures.
  • Excellent PC skills with HRIS experience.
  • Experience in high-growth, small or mid-size manufacturing companies is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Traveling up to 10% of the time.
  • Office environment.
  • The environment may be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
  • Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
