Taxidermy Driver

This position is responsible for driving a truck and trailer across the United States to deliver taxidermy trophies to clients' homes or designated destinations. The driver will work closely with the Shipping Manager to ensure timely and safe delivery of the trophies.

• Drive a pickup truck and trailer safely across the U.S. to deliver finished taxidermy trophies to clients' designated residences.
• Assist the Shipping Manager in loading and securing mounts in the trailer.
• Organize and coordinate staging areas for shipment.
• Report to the supervisor of any incidents encountered on the road.
• Maintain a log of trips and complete all other required records.
• Keep up to date on new rules and regulations.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with the Shipping Manager on truck runs.
• Interact professionally with customers upon delivery.
• Install finished taxidermy in customers' homes when needed.
• Manage all deliveries in the trailer to ensure they arrive at the correct location.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Good driving record and ability to receive clearance from The Wildlife Gallery Insurance Company
• Chauffeur's license or ability to obtain one
• Valid Medical Card

• Customer service experience

This job requires the ability to bend, stand, and lift. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extensive periods of time and perform repetitive motion. Lifting requirements are classified as Heavy Work; 25-50 pounds of force will be exerted frequently, and pounds of force will be exerted occasionally.

This is a full-time position. Routes are usually either Monday through Saturday or a 10-day trip. Shifts may vary upon Management's discretion. Driver is required to travel as needed throughout the entire year.
