Job Summary

UVA Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at our outpatient imaging center in Charlottesville, Virginia. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures and related techniques, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
  • Operate MRI equipment and ancillary equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and patient-focused work environment
Requirements
  • Up to 1 year experience as a MRI Technologist
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and MR advanced registration
  • State licensure requirement for the state in which you practice
