Veterinary Care and Consulting LLC is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals, perform routine procedures, and provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role
  • Assist veterinarians with medical care, including vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
  • Take and develop X-rays for diagnostic purposes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a veterinary technician program or relevant certification
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility preferred
  • Knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and common medical conditions
  • Proficiency in performing routine veterinary procedures such as vaccinations and blood draws
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
