We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate patient support assistant to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist patients with meals, snacks, and hydration, promoting their nutritional needs and overall well-being.
* Collect and process specimens, such as urine, stool, and sputum, ensuring accurate and timely results.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs), maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.
* Participate in infection control practices and maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred.
* No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Compensation and Benefits
