Product Development Manager

About the Role
Globus Medical is seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end-of-life.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
- Implement functional strategy and contribute to the development of organizational policies.
- Develop sound mechanical, pre-clinical, and clinical data of scientific merit on all technologies developed.
- Perform and maintain a market analysis for each assigned product segment to identify new offerings and line extensions.
- Create and manage a project plan for each project in conjunction with the engineer.
- Lead coordination and documentation of project team activities, including kick-off meetings, design review meetings, verification/validation, and cadaver lab utilization.
- Develop marketing plans for each product introduction.
- Forecast and oversee inventory management for all projects.
- Ensure timely and high-quality documentation of DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs for each project according to the company's quality policy and regulatory bodies.
- Develop technique guides, product literature, brochures, sales binders, and other sales support collateral.
- Partner with operations and purchasing to source products through the company supply chain.
- Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience; or Master's Degree and 3 years of experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Experience with new product introduction and lifecycle management.
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
