**Job Summary**
The Phlebotomy Specialist will be responsible for collecting and processing patient specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collect blood and other specimens from patients using aseptic techniques
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Enter orders and register patients in the laboratory information system
- Provide basic customer service and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain inventory levels and stock supplies
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
