Cashier PT

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cashier PT to join our team at IGA Southeast. As a Cashier PT, you will play a critical role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our guests.

1. Process Guest Orders: Accurately process guests' orders to ensure proper recording of sales and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Handle Monies and Tender: Accurately handle all monies and tender to ensure proper accounting of all transactions and maintain cash controls.
3. Bag and Deliver Orders: Properly bag guests' orders, place in cart or hand to customer, and follow the Floco Foods carryout practices.
4. Work with Team Members: Work well with all team members to grow community and maintain a positive work environment.
5. Maintain Clean Work Area: Continually maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient shopping experience.
6. Direct Guests: Direct guests into their lane to maintain guests' flow and achieve the Guest Arrival standard of no more than two guests waiting at one lane to checkout.
7. Maintain Cash Controls: Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink and ensure accurate accounting of all transactions.
8. Perform Other Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of our team.

2. Ability to Work Well with Others: Ability to work well with others to maintain a positive work environment and achieve team goals.
3. Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly, as well as stand for extended periods of time.
4. Math Skills: Demonstrate successful use of math skills to accurately process transactions and maintain cash controls.
5. Effective Communication: Possess effective communication and guest service skills to provide excellent customer service and interact with guests in a positive manner.
6. Ability to Retrieve and Push Carts: Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts to maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Ability to Bend and Lift: Ability to bend and lift to load guest orders into cars.
