Job Summary:

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced Training Improvement Engineer to join our team at the Kesselring Site in West Milton, NY. As part of the Kesselring Site Training Improvements group, you will have direct interaction with the Navy's top performing staff in developing nuclear operators for our nation's warships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and create process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and content of NNPP training requirements
- Analyze, implement, monitor, and oversee all aspects of technical training, plant operations, and refueling
- Ensure proper daily operations of the plant and support equipment, and train naval and civilian personnel on both theoretical and operational aspects of nuclear plant operations

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science related field from an accredited college or university
- Completed advanced qualifications as noted in the CTE/NOP/SRE Accelerated Pay Program
- Experience in the conduct or oversight of student training
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
