Job Summary

This Registered Nurse (RN) ED - Emergency Department role involves coordinating patient flow and expediting throughput activities in our busy Emergency Department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will supervise and direct other members to advance care throughout the patient experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and expedite patient throughput activities in the Emergency Department.
  • Have final accountability and authority regarding patient flow and react to immediate operational needs.
  • Supervise and direct other team members to assist in coordination and advancement of care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate maximum throughput.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), with a Master's degree (MSN) preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
  • 2 years of Emergency Department experience, with extensive knowledge of patient flow and operations.
  • Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and collaborate effectively.
