Key Responsibilities:
  • Departmental Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day patient care activities within the department, serving as a resource for the healthcare team, providers, and ancillary departments.
  • Scheduling Management: Independently manage multiple scheduling tasks and assignments, proactively planning for clinical operations.
  • Clinical Emergency Response: Evaluate emergency situations and lead the nursing response to clinical emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Patient Flow Optimization: Continuously round within the department to ensure patient throughput and flow, providing assistance as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ensure clear communication with the healthcare team, providers, and management using various channels, including email, teams chat, and huddles.
