Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in California, seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to serve as a Team Lead in our Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to lead a team of radiologic technologists and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff certifications and update logs accordingly.
  • Orient and train new staff on imaging equipment, workflows, and policies, promoting seamless integration into the team.
  • Evaluate technologists' skills through competency checks and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other managers and departments to optimize workflow, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that enhance patient care and departmental performance.
  • Act as a role model by providing exceptional care, precepting new staff, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Contribute to monitoring and performance measures, designing methods to improve quality of care and services, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., radiologic technology, healthcare administration).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician in an outpatient clinical setting, preferably with leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Current certification as an Imaging CA Radiologic Tech (CRT) and secondary certification in at least one specialty area (e.g., fluoroscopy, MRI, CT, sonography, quality management).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Possess strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
