Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to join our team at Base-2 Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and experience with compliance assessments.
About the Role:
- The Senior Information Security Assessor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security compliance assessments of various systems, products, and components.
- This includes analyzing design specifications, configuration practices, and operational procedures to ensure compliance with security requirements.
- The successful candidate will also provide identification of non-compliance issues and recommend mitigations to address these concerns.
- In addition, the Senior Information Security Assessor will conduct on-site evaluations and validate security requirements for information systems.
- This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A minimum of 12 years of related work experience, with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering.
- Experience in five or more areas of security or system engineering, including Telecommunications concepts, operating systems, databases/DBMS, middleware, applications, web servers, SANS/Netaps, Active Directory, firewalls, and controlled interfaces.
- CWIP Billet per DoD Directive 8570-1, requiring specified certification requirements defined and documented by the TTO COR.
- Above market fixed salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
- Up to $10,000 bonus for each referral.
- Additional bonuses for exceptional performance, assisting with business development and company growth.
