Job Summary

We're seeking a Guest Advocate to join our Small Format team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our smallest format stores. As a key member of our team, you'll be proficient in all areas of the store, including cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming experience for guests by authentically greeting and engaging with them.
  • Observe and respond to guest needs, using body language and verbal cues to tailor your approach.
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experiences.
  • Thank guests in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
  • Help guests as you complete workload with minimal disruption.
  • Work in all departments to ensure sales floors are full, zoned, and in stock for guests.
  • Push and stock product to sales floors, execute adjacency changes, and conduct weekly price change workload.
  • Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain interior and exterior brand, including emptying garbage cans and attending to restroom cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
  • Work both independently and with a team.
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
