Job Overview

A critical role in the healthcare team, our Certified Medical Assistant at Triangle Family Medicine clinic is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. With a focus on compassionate care, this position requires a certified medical assistant to record vital signs, assist with examinations, manage patient records, and perform routine lab tests.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care by taking vital signs, explaining treatment procedures, and preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Support clinical staff during examinations and procedures, collect laboratory specimens, and perform basic laboratory tests.
  • Manage patient records, documenting vital information and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Perform routine lab tests, dispose of contaminated supplies, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) with AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA.
  • High school or GED graduation required; Associates degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting (Level II), or 3 years (Level III).
