At The Judge Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to join our team as an HVAC Sales Engineer. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for working directly with customers to interpret complex specifications, prepare quotes, and collaborate with our in-house manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer relationship management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in chilled and heating water HVAC systems. A Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical) is preferred but not required. Experience with HVAC system controls and basic AutoCAD skills are also a plus.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on factors such as qualifications, experience, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote mechanical equipment from plans and specifications
  • Work directly with customers, interpreting complex specifications, prepare quotes and work with in-house manufacturing team.
  • Sales Presentations to Engineers, Owners & Contractors
  • Some travel required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; mechanical or electrical preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in chilled and heating water HVAC systems.
  • Experience in sales and managing customer relationships.
  • Experience with HVAC system controls preferred.
  • Basic AutoCAD skills preferred.
