Ambulatory Care Specialist

Job Summary
Provider Healthcare is seeking a motivated and compassionate Ambulatory Care Specialist to join our collaborative, outpatient interdisciplinary practice. Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should value practicing evidence-based medicine and working within a PACE program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients
- Develop and lead in-service training programs to increase staff awareness and facilitate better patient care
- Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
- Participate in utilization and peer review programs to evaluate the quality of medical staff and medical services
- Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
Requirements
- CA medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an approved residency program
- Board certification in primary care
- CA DEA certificate before start date
- CPR certification
