Job Summary:

The Telecom Construction Lineman Specialist is responsible for installing and maintaining cables and wires that supply electricity to the Ray mine. This individual must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and ensure a safe working environment.

About the Job:

As an Electricity Infrastructure Maintenance Professional, you will work independently to prepare poles for wire installation, pull wires through using hand-operated or mechanical winches, and repair defective power cables and auxiliary equipment. You must be skilled in measuring voltage using electronic test equipment and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Additionally, you will participate in resolving day-to-day questions and problems regarding equipment, materials, methods, and procedures needed to complete projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Digs holes using a backhoe loader to install electrical poles.
  • Operates a bucket truck to prepare poles for wire installation.
  • Pulls wires through using hand-operated or mechanical winches.
  • Repairs defective power cables and auxiliary equipment.
  • Measures voltage using electronic test equipment.
  • Interprets safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Estimated Salary:
This position offers an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and location considerations. Compensation may vary depending on qualifications and experience.
