Patient Care Observer

We are seeking a skilled Patient Sitter to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Patient Sitter, you will provide continuous observation and surveillance for assigned patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide continuous observation and surveillance for assigned patients
- Redirect patients from engaging in at-risk behaviors
- Summon assigned RN for assistance when needed
- Completion of Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital medical terminology test within 90 days of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 6 months of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
