Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Create and deploy strategies to drive sustainable and measurable results, and serve as a resource to the organization to problem solve both internal and external issues.
  • Lead Lean and 80/20 Audit Processes: Ensure that standard operating procedures exist to meet both the short- and long-term needs of the business, and lead effective implementation and use of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools, 80/20 approach and methods.
  • Coordinate and Facilitate Lean Training: Coordinate and facilitate lean training to associates and staff across all levels of the organization, and facilitate rapid improvement (Kaizen) events to drive process improvements.
  • Monitor and Ensure Audit Processes: Monitor and ensure audit processes are in place to sustain Lean and 80/20 expected performance.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. Degree in Related Field: A B.S. degree in a related field is preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Training: Lean/Six Sigma training, including Green Belt certification, is preferred.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to Work Long Hours: Ability to work long hours in a sedentary position, sitting, talking, looking at a computer, charts/graphs, and performing repetitive motions.
  • Ability to Collaborate: Ability to collaborate with manufacturing team members as needed in an environment that can be noisy.
